Reinstatement of the one-stop procedure for recognition of foreign diplomas

The Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection has reinstated the possibility of one-stop procedures for the recognition of foreign diplomas in certain non-medical healthcare professions.

The shortened recognition procedure is possible for the following countries:

Germany, Italy, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

With this option, recognition can be carried out in a shortened way, taking the necessary documents with you.

Exactly which documents are required depends on the type of diploma and when the training was started.

You must always bring a personally signed application stating your home address and social security number, if available, otherwise a power of attorney for the entire recognition procedure, a certificate stating that you have not been temporarily or permanently banned from practicing your profession (not older than three months), a copy of your ID and cash of at least €250 or an ATM card.

For further information, please contact us and we will discuss the next steps together!
